Our Early History
In 1972, three brothers came together to start a metal stamping company. One had experience as an Inland Steel salesman, the other in toolmaking, while the third joined the venture because their Dad told him to. Together, with the support of their father, the three started Tryson–a little play on ‘tri son,’ three sons. Their father loaned them $15,000, allowing them to purchase a single punch press in a small, 750-square-foot facility, and Tryson was born.
Tryson Today
Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our founders, Tryson Metal Stamping & Manufacturing expanded from its humble roots into a 50,000 square foot campus consisting of three adjacent properties that house a full toolroom and 40 presses ranging from 12-330 tons. Our QMS is certified to ISO 9001:2015 standards, and we serve a wide range of customers across automotive, appliance, heavy duty, non-critical aerospace, and hardware manufacturing. Over the past decades, we’ve received several quality supplier awards for our customer service and our manufacturing services, and we take pride in the quality that we offer each and every one of our partners.
